A New Approach to Energy Healing: New York City Introduces The BodyTalk Center
The last time I visited my parents in New York City, I paid a long-anticipated visit to a place I had been hearing about for a while--The BodyTalk Center. Having read quite a bit about BodyTalk as one of the more cutting-edge healing modalities, I knew this particular healing center (New York City has many) had a reputation for staffing experts in this emerging technique.
I have found BodyTalk to be exciting because it's possible for people to see dramatic results in as little as one session. Not only is it completely safe and non-invasive, but it can be used as a stand-alone treatment, or to complement the effectiveness of other therapies. In addition to the system's ability to influence physical, emotional, and mental wellness, I particularly like the fact that this approach is respectful of the bodys internal wisdom. In essence, it reminds us to listen so our bodies will tell us what we need, because they always have, we just don't always listen.
BodyTalk has been around for approximately 13 years, but only recently have we witnessed a real surge in its proliferation. In this country, there are now trained BodyTalk practitioners in nearly every state, and there are thousands all over the world. With the help of great teachers and practitioners everywhere, The BodyTalk System continues to experience an evolution fueled by the research of John Veitham--the developer of the system, and the academic committee of the International BodyTalk Association--a body that continues to grow and spread across the globe.
There is really no limit to what BodyTalk can do. It can be used to address the following conditions: arthritis, ADD, allergies, chronic fatigue, dyslexia, headaches, emotional disorders, stress, viruses, phobias, menstrual irregularities, parasites, back pain, infections, learning disorders, sugar imbalances, sports injuries, digestive disorders, poor immune functioning, depression, breathing patterns, scarring, poor coordination, self destructive behavior, mood swings, compulsive behaviors, chakra imbalances, clearing negative belief systems, self-esteem issues, poor body image, lymphatic drainage, and the elimination of toxins.
Some of the things that I learned at my Body Talk, New York City-based workshops have certainly enlightened me and will remain with me for a long time. What I like the most about The BodyTalk System is that it is simple, safe, and generates quick results by realigning wayward communication channels and giving you the opportunity to listen to your body so it can tell you how you can help it heal itself. This, in essence, is what BodyTalk is all about.
